Back Stage Heat
It was just supposed to be a short nap. I’d been working day and night to get the sets built for our upcoming production of Romeo and Juliet. We’re a small theatre group and can’t afford a whole lot of help. I’m pretty much the set designer, set builder, electrician, light man and utility infielder for this operation. After parking his wife’s practically new minivan away from all the other cars, the shade of the mall’s parking garage was a relief from the summer sun. Dave bent down to get his receipt.
